12 fun ways to fill a blank notebook📒

Hello lovelies, I’m hoping this quarantine is kind on you and you are all doing well.

Are you a notebook addict? Do you always find yourself buying cute and cool notebooks and after getting home, you have no idea of what to write? Always filling out the first pages then blank lonely pages after that? Don’t you worry, I got you! 😊

In this post, you will discover really great things. Take your pen, notebook and markers. Ready?

Let’s get started!

This is the act of confirming something true. Our brains influence and control everything in our life. There is power in affirmations and writing it down gives you confidence. For example, I am blessed, I am successful, I am beautiful, I am handsome etcetera.

Lists can be as many as a hundred and always ensure after accomplishing in any of them you check, this gives you the confidence and motivation to continue doing more. Write them down and check, some of the lists include; grocery list, Wishlist, shopping list, bucket list, to-do list.

These are cute drawings that you draw on your notebook and they keep you busy and fun. It is also good for those who love art since they are practicing their skills.

This is what most people do when they get a notebook. This life can be really stressful and writing down how your day was, really helps to relieve your stress and also the memory of that day is more retained. It will also be fun reading it years later.

These are wise words and principles that you believe in and live by.Fill your notebook with your favorite quotes and sayings that will keep you motivated and focused.

Vision board.

It is a powerful tool that you can use to set your goals and dreams. You arrange some collage in your notebook of photos, texts or drawings and this will give you a motivation for a big goal.

New things you’ve learned.

It could be new words where you’ll need to conjure up a few sentences in order to improve your lexicon. Write down new information when watching, reading newspapers or magazines and improve your knowledge.

Yes, write it down if you can’t share your darkest or deepest secrets. Since they are’ not to tell’ ensure its locked or far from anyone’s reach. You don’t want your classified information spreading.

Recipes or meal planner.

Write down new recipes that you’ve come across to and you want to try or you’ve just acquired from your grandmother or friend. It is a great way to keep track of the recipes you’ve learned. Keep track of your food and meals weekly or monthly.

Learn a new language.

Learning a new language right now is doable since the resources such as the internet is in plenty. There are online classes where one can learn new language and write down in the notebook.

It is safer not using one password on many websites or application, this means the passwords can be forgotten. To avoid forgetting, write them down. However, make sure it is locked and safe to avoid tampering of your accounts.

Budget and savings journal.

If you do not prefer using excel, your notebook can work perfectly for you. Budgets really help one to be disciplined with their money and reduces impulse buying.

Do you have more ideas on how you fill your empty notebook?

Anger is an emotion that is normal and every being with a heart or animal experiences it,but I’ll write this on the perspective of human beings.

We’ve all experienced anger and we don’t like how it feels even though we sort of like expressing it. Everybody has their own way of conveying anger, it could be silence, criticism, shouting, fighting, bullying, blackmailing, talking about it or even bickering.

Just like everyone else reading this, I’m sure there is one of the ways that I have mentioned above,it’s how you extract your anger. We all got the right to be mad but how we show and express it determines a lot especially after the anger subsides. Will the environment be the same after expressing my anger? Will they forgive me for the words I said? Did I hurt their feelings? Did I say something that will make them change how they see me?Expressing your anger is a natural reflex but it is very crucial that everyone learns how to manage their anger.

Anger Kills. Anger can make you do things that you will regret. Revenge comes to someone’s mind often because you want to hurt ‘the other side’ the way they hurt you. But….

Romans 12:19. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.

I feel it is good to express your anger but think before you speak, take time to control your anger by being patient, not raising your voice. Deal with the anger assertively meaning that you care and are mature about your relationships and yourself.

Forgiveness. Forgive when someone apologizes or let go when you realize the situation is not worth it. Trust me, it all goes back to you, how you feel, your mental state. Let go and take care for YOU. There is no other YOU and you need YOU.YOU is very important. Love YOU.

Never have I ever on Netflix.

This is a spoiler for anyone who hasn’t watched it. Spoiler alert! Be warned!

It’s created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher.

Mindy Kaling

April 27, 2020

Just finished binge watching Never Have I ever on Netflix and this TV series is a must watch. It’s rated 96% by the American review aggregation website for film and television, Rotten Tomatoes. It’s mirthful, cordial, got flaws and poignant.Centers a 15-year-old Indian-American girl, Devi Vishwakumar, from Sherman Oak, California, who resides with her mother and beautiful cousin. Her dad Mohan dies while Devi was performing in her school concert and that made Devi sick and after a week, she became paralyzed for 3 months. She is an Indian girl who is struggling with the death of her father and its traumatizing since she loved him dearly. She sees a therapist who helps her on how to deal with her father’s death, Dr. Ryan gives a good ear and tries her best to help her. Devi has two best friends, Eleanor and Fabiola who are the coolest and the most supportive friends, their friendship is a rollercoaster of hate and love filled with exciting drama and this makes it even more interesting. At the beginning of the series, Devi is praying to their god for a boyfriend. Like any other teenager, she likes boys and she has a crush, Paxton. Devi meets up with her best friends and plot on how to have boyfriends. Eleanor had one who was a secret boyfriend while Fabiola was still fighting about whether she loved girls or boys. Kalini, Devis mum, is tough and grandmotherly over Devi. She found it hard to bring up Devi alone since she was grieving her husband’s death. Devi always quarreled with her mum and did not feel loved by her mum till she ran away from home after having a fight since she remembered the day before her dad died her mum had maligned her.Kamala, was a beautiful cousin who had a secret boyfriend which was not supposed to be right, since she had a planned marriage with Prashant who was an Indian engineer. Devi was a smart ass and whip-smart and that made her have a nemesis whom they always competed and always fought in class. What made me love this show is how Devi is bold and confident in different areas but you could see that she was struggling with something underneath her façade. The way you cringe to her choices, laugh, cry and get shocked as you watch is just awesome. The show is so interesting you crave for more and always have a lot of questions at the back of your mind after every scene. But the most intriguing part is where the person Devi hated the most, she ended up with him. That was such a twist! Man, I never saw that coming. The way the show has mixed different cultures, Asian, Indian, American and brought them together is just amazing. Despite the change of environment, they still remember where they belong but Devi doesn’t like being too Indian.

The series is narrated by a professional tennis player John McEnroe, where one of the episodes is narrated by Andy Samberg who is an actor, comedian, writer, producer and musician.

I feel Mindy Kaling was explaining her growing up in Boston as an Indian-American and the struggles. I’m sure you will love it and yearn for season 2 like me.

I sampled the songs in the series.
